FACEBOOK CAMERA AR FILTERS
In 2016, I was a Producer on the creative team responsible for developing the first augmented reality filters for Facebook. We were the first team within the company to create in the AR space, leveraging the company’s proprietary software Spark AR. These filters were the first creative tools deployed within the Facebook Stories product. Throughout my tenure on the team, I produced over 75+ different filters.
As part of the launch package, our team collaborated with notable artists and creators to interpret their art into AR. This filter was created in partnership with celebrated novelist, visual artist, and designer Douglas Coupland whose work focuses on popular culture and the effects of the technological revolution on the human brain.
